Who are the World’s Richest Rockstars? [Infographic]

Imagine having all the money in the world. There’s nothing that you can’t do and fun is at your disposal. Take Bono for example; he is the richest rockstar in the world cashing in at $1 billion and followed very closely by Sir Paul McCartney with $800 million. In 2009, Elevation Partners – Bono’s investors, acquired a 1% stake in Facebook for $90 million. This year alone, Facebook is now valued at $100 billion, meaning Bono’s stake will be worth one billion.

So how does one make such riches? Take it from Sir Elton John; sold out concerts, having an impressive property portfolio and an array of fabulous art and photography. If art and photography aren’t your thing, you can always work with two clothing lines, marketing firm, record label or even have a contract with a major vodka brand like Sean “Diddy” combs.

This is the current who’s-who in the music industry today, however, who will be next to take the reigns for top grossing artist? Take a look at this infographic presented by Bearshare to learn more about the richest rockstars.
