The Reddit Timeline Takes Us To The Future

Reddit Timeline

Facebook may have the market cornered on social networking with their Timeline, but can theirs jump ahead to the future? I think not, but social news site Reddit has Facebook blown out of the water with the Reddit Timeline.

Through Reddit Timeline, available April 1 only, users can see what the front page of the site will look like next year, 10 years from now, even 39,988 years from now! We’ve explored it a little and there are certain things that stick out. The first question on many people’s mind is about who will win the presidential election. Accord to Reddit Timeline 2013, Ron Paul won and is (will be) doing an “Ask Me Anything” with the Reddit community.

It seems that a lot of people are losing their virginity in the future. Firefly will finally finish its first season and get the second season underway, though it’s still unclear who the actors are since the originals will all be dead by then. Some thing stayed the same, such as Half Life 3 which is still preparing to be released even thousands of years into the future.

We’ll see what other developments we can find but one thing is certain: Mark Zuckerberg could never have come up with this one.
