As you already know, we are constantly bombarded with drug commercials everywhere. TV, newspaper, billboards, internet, you name it and they are there. We recently came across this infographic which points out some of the ways drug companies operate that we may not know about. For example, did you know pharmaceutical companies spend about $19 Billion a year on doctors to promote their drugs?     This is pretty alarming stuff. I have been on maintenance drugs for several years now for my elevated blood pressure problems and that is taking a huge sum of my salary. I wonder what the actual cost of the medicines I use is, hmm?

    The pharmaceutical industry has become nothing short of an insult to our intelligence. Lipitor, the cholestrol medication, is the biggest selling drug on the planet, and its NNT # is 100! NNT means the Number Needed to Treat, which means they had to treat that many people with the drug in testing before one person showed positive results.     It is really shocking to know about this kind of stuff going on with the pharmaceutical companies. There won’t be a problem for those who can afford the hefty prices of medicine, but what about those who can’t? That is a problem that I think the government should attend to.

    Huhu liebe Männerwelt! bin auf diesemungewöhnlichen Weg auf der Suche nachein bisschen Unterhaltung. Ganz nach der Devise Probieren geht über studieren! Vielleicht wird mehr draus, vielleicht auch nicht – lass es uns einfach mal in Angriff nehmen. Diesen Sommer möchte ich alles richtig machen, losflirten, mich wieder verlieben… Ich bin übrigens 26 und eher die Sportliche Mit den Richtlinien im Internet kenne ich mich nicht so aus und mir nichtmal sicher, ob ich hier überhaupt so etwas schreiben darf… deswegen hab ich hier einfach eine Anzeige gepostet, dort kann man mir auch direkt nicht öffentlich via Mail antworten: http://www.bravopost.net
