This Social Media Infographic from Flowtown really tells the story, visually and through words. It is one of the best representations of social media that I’ve ever seen.

Wow, pretty impressive chart! I always find it amazing how people are so quick to call social media a “trend” or “fad” when it continues to grow at an astounding rate. It’s where the internet is shifting it’s focus and where people are shifting their focus. Sites and different platforms may die but social media in general will keep on truckin’!

I think it is the label, “Social Media” which is a fad. The concept of mass collaboration and communication will continue to improve.

Hi JD Rucker, I read your blog today and found it really informative. I wanted to connect with you because I think you and your readers would be interested in MemCatch. It’s a new platform that has some great features. MemCatch has developed a very easy and simple way for you, and the general user to get started, and be productive with their social media activities across Twitter, Linkedin, and Facebook. We have also developed metrics to track the content you share. MemCatch includes the sharing component that can be found in some other apps, but our platform also offers functionality for collecting content across the web. We have packaged all of the basic social media steps together into one user friendly platform.
