Wow, pretty impressive chart! I always find it amazing how people are so quick to call social media a “trend” or “fad” when it continues to grow at an astounding rate. It’s where the internet is shifting it’s focus and where people are shifting their focus. Sites and different platforms may die but social media in general will keep on truckin’!

I think it is the label, “Social Media” which is a fad. The concept of mass collaboration and communication will continue to improve.
