QUICK! How much time should you spend building your Google+ Business Page? That’s right – 5 minutes.
Now, how much time should you spend working on your Google+Business Page once it’s built?
Yep, 5 minutes again. Not much. Not yet.
In the next year, Google will be plugging in business pages with Google Places and other services that will truly make the service valuable for business users. For now, it’s relatively meaningless. Anyone can build them and attach them to any Google Places listing (not the account, just the listing thankfully). There are tens of millions of users, but there’s still very little happening.
For now.
Get it going now, though. Be prepared. Be an early adopter. Bet on Google. They’ll get this one right and in the near future Google+ will be valuable for businesses. Today is not that day, but it can in the future.
Here’s a quick tutorial (thanks Columbus Indiana Ram!):

Great Information.. I have my own google+ page now.. THANKS
If anyone else is having a problem re-login into their google + business page. I wrote an article on how to login. Here you go
Re-login to Google+ Pages: http://nuancedmedia.com/login-to-google-business-pages-how-to/
I spent like 3 hours this morning not being able to figure out how to re login
Whilst I am happy they have finally launched the business pages, I don’t understand why the URLs are so ugly still. Can these be edited like Facebook?
There are alternatives to such sites emerging though. In my experience google+ lacks many of the tools I need, and not that many appear to use it (although i know people do).
I stumbled across this recently which seems like a really interesting concept:

Worth following to see how it develops in my opinion.
Great tutorial, thank you. But 5 minutes for building GOOD page is unreal…
great tutorial thank you. but i cannot find where to start. you had pages before and you show it that way. but i dont have any other pages and i dont see the create part :/
Hello,
I’m, very curious about something: I’m from Romania and here Google+ is not so popular. We’re still Facebook maniacs. How about in other countries?
Thanks for the heads up.
I would agree that this social media world is not about ‘backing one horse’ but right now Google+ does seem a bit like talking to people in an empty room.
I am sure it will get busier though and i look forward to some tips on time saving you promised. The more SM sites we use the more time it seems to take.
