Something weird is happening with Facebook. Confirmed from several locations across the US, Facebook.com is either not loading at all or loading very slowly. In some cases, it would load but show nothing on the news feed.
API calls from apps and mobile devices appear to be working.
As Twitter user ybudman points out, the mobile version works on desktops currently. Just type in m.facebook.com and get the less-robust version.
