Facebook Fan Page Tips

SocialMouths has put together an excellent list of 10 steps to make your Facebook fan page shine. I would love to add, but they/he did an excellent job at wrapping it up.

Here’s the list, but visit SocialMouths for the details:

Facebook

  1. Insights (Your In-House Analytics)
  2. Vanity URL
  3. Big Profile Pic (Banner Style)
  4. Invitations & Bulk Messages
  5. Twitter Integration
  6. Facebook Widgets On Your Blog
  7. Blog Promotion
  8. FBML Landing Page
  9. Facebook Ads
  10. Facebook Apps

We will be enhancing and going in-depth into some of these as well as add more insights in the future, but this is a great start.

I am trying to associate third party sites with my facebook fan page. But because I created it as an addon to my personal page, how do I achieve this?

FOr instance, my personal one is facebook.com/shonnpiersol and my fan page is http://www.facebook.com/massageindy but when i “authorize” it only allows me to authorize for the email address which then is associated with ONLY the personal.

How do i authorize the “fan” page in this situation?

Thank you.

Hi Shonn,

Did you manage to get any help with your problem?

Would love to chat with you about it, authorizing a fan page shouldnt be necessary…they are well different from personal pages, and are administrated by the admin link in their edit interface.

Check out my blog for ways to contact me about this!!
