I am pro-life. There are two very clear cases that can be made. Politically, our understanding of modern science combined with the tenets of both the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence make it easy to see for anyone not indoctrinated to believe that it’s just a clump of “potential” life in the womb. Culturally, our Judeo-Christian values based upon the teachings of the Bible leave no doubt. Defunding Planned Parenthood has nothing to do with either of these arguments.
The funny reason would be that I simply can’t find enough time to react to everything the President Tweets that makes him or his staff look silly, but it’s not like that. In fact, a good chunk of what the President Tweets is acceptable and some of it’s actually pretty good.
There’s a reason liberals love playing the victim card in its various forms. It’s a powerful tool for radicals to have at the top of their Alinsky Tactics Toolbox. When politicians can mislead people into believing they’re being subjugated by the opposing side, their followers will do pretty much anything for their radical caretakers.
Mark Twain is known primarily for his literary works, but a close second notable talent was his ability to say so much with so few words on a wide variety of topics. He’s one of the most oft-quoted historical figures and his perspectives on politics encompass some of his best.
Every day, I go through certain news sources religiously. Part of it is for the sake of our news aggregator, but it’s also important for me to stay on top of political, religious, and cultural events to help the Federalist Party remain ahead of the news curve. RedState has always one of my daily sources and one story in particular sparked the need for a response.
The founders had a clear understanding about and reverence for the source of our rights. They didn’t design the Constitution to give us these rights. They designed it to protect them from the machinations of men, particularly those in government. This is one of the biggest reasons the party is so clear in its philosophies towards these rights. We want to defend the Constitution because the Constitution is the only way to defend our freedoms.
It’s no surprise that the Federalist Party is getting a ton of new members who feel the GOP has left them. What may be surprising is that a good number of the ones we’re seeing make the switch are millennials.
